Is it permissible for the employer or the apprentice to terminate the contract of apprenticeship before the expiry of the period of apprenticeship training ?

It is permissible for both the employer and the apprentice to terminate the contract of apprenticeship before the expiry of the period of apprenticeship training, but this has got to be done through the Apprenticeship Adviser. Moreover, on such termination, the party responsible for termination will have to pay to the other party such compensation as is prescribed by the rules made under the Act, or is determined by the Apprenticeship Adviser.
