Is a revision petition maintainable against an order in appeal under Section 17 of the Act?

Since the two Appellate fora provided under Section 17 are the Court of Small Causes and the District Court and not any particular judge, both the Courts are subordinate to the High Court and come within the purview of Section 115 of the Code of Civil Procedure. No further provision after appeal under Section 17 has been made in the Act, and as such, the appellate order is subject to revisional jurisdiction of the High Court under Section 115 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
