Is the employer required to give any prior notice for deduction from wages for unauthorized absence from duty?

Where the legislature thought it fit to provide for prior notice before imposition of fine under Section 8 of the Act and before deduction for damage or loss sustained and for various other acts of commission by the employees, it has not thought it fit to provide for issue of prior notice for deduction of wages for unauthorized absence from duty.
