From Humble Beginnings to Compliance Excellence
Since 1978, LK Nakashe Consultants Pvt. Ltd. has evolved from a single-service consultancy into a trusted pan-India labour law compliance and workforce solutions partner. Our journey reflects decades of experience, enduring client relationships, continuous innovation, and a commitment to making compliance simpler, smarter, and more effective.
Our Humble Beginning
Our journey began with a single compliance service under the ESI Act, with Madhavashram Pvt. Ltd., Girgaum, Mumbai, becoming our first client. This marked the beginning of a relationship-driven approach that continues to define LK Nakashe Consultants today.
Expanding Our Expertise
We expanded our portfolio beyond ESI compliance to include services under the Provident Fund Act, Professional Tax, and Labour Welfare Fund. During this period, we also entered Payroll Management, beginning with the maintenance of manual salary registers for our clients.
Transition to a Full-Service Compliance Partner
This period marked a significant phase of growth and transformation. We celebrated 20 years of association with our first client, Madhavashram Pvt. Ltd., demonstrating our commitment to building enduring client relationships. Our statutory compliance operations expanded significantly, with more than 2,00,000 Provident Fund accounts and 1,00,000 ESI accounts under management. We also expanded our capabilities to provide pan-India compliance services, strengthening our presence beyond regional boundaries.
Expansion & New Capabilities
We entered the Contract Staffing segment with our first 50 employees under contract, expanding our capabilities beyond traditional compliance services. During this period, we achieved another important milestone by welcoming our 400th client. To support our growing national presence, we also established branch offices outside Maharashtra.
Payroll Excellence & Recognition
Our Payroll Management Services reached an important milestone with our 50th payroll client, with payroll processing for more than 7,000 employees across 50 organizations. Our Contract Staffing operations also continued to grow, with the number of employees under contract exceeding 800. Our commitment to entrepreneurship and excellence was recognized with the prestigious “Jigarbaj Udyojag” Award, presented by Vivek Magazine, a leading Marathi weekly publication.

Our growth has always been driven by relationships, not just numbers. By this period, we had built remarkable long-term associations, including relationships extending beyond 32 years with 50 clients, 25 years with 100 clients, and 15 years with 200 clients. In 2017, we further strengthened our commitment to professional standards and service quality by becoming CRISIL rated and ISO certified.
Accelerating Digital Innovation
We entered a new phase of technology-enabled compliance, combining our decades of regulatory expertise with digital solutions. We launched our YouTube channel to share practical knowledge and updates, particularly on Provident Fund matters, making compliance information more accessible. We also introduced our Online Audit Portal, transforming traditional compliance audits through greater efficiency, accessibility, transparency, and centralized monitoring. This period marked an important shift towards digitally enabled compliance management.
Simplifying Compliance Through Technology
Continuing our digital transformation journey, we introduced our Register Software to simplify the preparation and management of statutory labour law registers. Through a streamlined salary-register mapping process, the solution enables organizations to efficiently generate applicable labour law registers across multiple locations in India. This innovation further strengthened our objective of making complex compliance processes simpler, faster, and more efficient.
Transforming Compliance Operations
We introduced our Compliance Operations Tool, designed to bring greater visibility and control to multi-location compliance management. With location-specific compliance assessments, centralized monitoring, and intuitive compliance dashboards, the platform enables organizations to track compliance status and scores across their locations more effectively. This marked another important step towards data-driven and technology-enabled compliance management.
Smarter Statutory Compliance Automation
We expanded our technology portfolio with specialized software solutions for Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and Tax Compliance. The platform automates tax calculations, deduction validation, reconciliation, and challan generation while considering applicable state and city-specific statutory requirements. An integrated error identification and validation mechanism further enables users to identify discrepancies, rectify data, and improve processing accuracy. This development represents another step towards our vision of making statutory compliance automated, accurate, scalable, and easier to manage.
